Grand Jules - Boat Hotel Budapest, Budapest

I had the pleasure of staying in a Standard Double Cabin with a river view and it was good! The room was well-insulated, keeping warm and cozy during my stay in the chilly weather. The cleanliness was great and the daily housekeeping service made everything feel fresh. I loved waking up to the calming sounds of the Danube flowing by right outside my window. This cabin offered a unique experience that exceeded my expectations.

I enjoyed a lovely breakfast every morning during my stay. The buffet offered a decent variety of options and was available later than typical hotel breakfasts, which was a nice surprise. It really set a positive tone for my day, and I appreciated the attentive service that accompanied the meal. It was great to fuel up for a day of exploration around Budapest!

Staying on this boat hotel was a unique experience! While the electronics felt a bit dated, the charm of the decor added a nostalgic touch to my stay. Initially, there was a limited selection of English channels, but the relaxing atmosphere of the cabin made up for it. Plus, watching the beautiful Parliament building lit up at night from my window was an lovely sight.

The bathroom in my cabin was perfectly sufficient for my needs. While it may not have been massive, everything was clean and functional. I appreciated the attention to hygiene, which added to the overall positive impression of my stay. It was great to have clean towels provided daily, contributing to a fresh and pleasant experience during my time on the boat.
